2025
Over 2025, our club has seen a flurry of activity and remarkable achievements. We successfully ran three 12-week courses and introduced six new puppy classes, while helping candidates achieve Kennel Club Good Citizen awards at bronze, silver, and gold levels. Our commitment to ongoing development was evident as instructors participated in a range of learning opportunities, resulting in an impressive number of PDTI accredited trainers across all levels.
Community engagement was a highlight, with our inaugural stall at the Melplash Show raising funds for Ferne Animal Sanctuary, and our team supporting Groves Nursery’s charity dog show. Hands-on training continued at Ferne Animal Sanctuary, where members honed their skills with rescue dogs. Social events, such as our popular fish and chip walk and Christmas parties, fostered camaraderie and supported local charities. The annual meal at the Golf Club provided another chance for members to connect and celebrate a successful year together.

- Saturday 6th June – open day 10am-4pm at St Mary’s church hall we shall be manning a table and chatting to the local community about the classes we offer.
- Monday June 22nd Start of next 8-week course
- Sunday 2nd August – Buckham Fair we shall be manning the temptation alley hope to see you there.
- Monday 17th August – Fish and Chip walk to West Bay
- Thursday 27th August – Melplash show we are having a stall offering advice on training and behaviour, a dog tombola for charity and running a display in the arena.
